The four winning girls and guys will be styled and photographed on location by a leading photographer for our 2009 calendars. ADDED MARCH 2008
2007 was a momentous year for Angelfish and Fish. Fish celebrated it’s 20th birthday, Angelfish was launched and Fish hosted a nationwide search for new talent to star in the Angel Fish and Fish 2008 calendars which are now available to download. The Angel Fish calendar is here and the Fish calendar is there.


The five winning guys featured in the calendar are Mark from Portsmouth, Nick from Lewisham, Sylvian from London, Richard from Manchester and Anthony from Lowestoft. Since appearing in the Fish calendar, boxer Anthony has appeared in the celebrity Big Brother Hijack House and was certainly our favourite housemate. The full calendar featuring images of Anthony and all the Fish guys of 2008 featured in the calendar can be downloaded here.

WOMEN’S FASHION
There’s a wide choice of looks out there for Spring, anything goes if its eco-sexy, tailored, light and floaty or in kaleidoscopic colours. Ethical shopping is impacting the masses with the demand for recycled and organic clothing coming through on the high street. Prominent footwear on the catwalks were sculptured heels set off with elegant straps. The tailored masculine look is a must for coats or jackets, personalised with contrasting textures and colours. Big and bold sunglasses are here to stay with celebrities favouring coloured round rims over square. To finish off an outfit, accessorise with a brightly coloured patent clutch, the oversized bag has truly had its day.

MEN’S STYLE PREDICITIONS
Men seem to be smartening up their image, moving away from the long, unkempt looks that have been so popular. Men’s hair is looking a lot more natural with a natural finish as opposed to looking heavily styled. The shorter more tidy looks are becoming more and more fashionable.

LATEST MEN’S CUTS
Lately we have been seeing a trend in men going shorter with their hair. The undercut is making a comeback with hair being taken close on the sides and being left longer and more disconnected on top. Men are going for a more natural softer finish creating a style that is unruly but tidy.

MEN’S FASHION
We are seeing a decline in skinny jeans and we see them being replaced by a wider leg flared jean with skinny belts making an appearance too. Don’t get rid of those waistcoats as they will still be in way into the summer seasons. We also see fitted leather jackets making a comeback, as well as more brogues on the scene, so throw out those old trainers and smarten up your act.

ADDED JANUARY 2008
We like to lend a helping hand (or shirt) when we can (after all we're not a cash rich multinational) but we have aided a local under 12s team, the Maidstone Rascals, with some kit.

And boy does it seem to be helping them tackle their league - recent highlights include beating Crystal Palace by 18 goals! Go on girls, angels on the outside, but with a bit of devil inside!
